Caramel cake

The caramel cream cake is very fine and can be prepared for various occasions.


Preparation time

5 eggs

10 tablespoons old

1 teaspoon baking powder

3 tablespoons oil

9 tablespoons flour

1 vanilla essence

Caramel cream

200 g old

100 g butter

1 vanilla essence

150 g fresh

Method of preparation

Mix the egg whites with the sugar, add the yolks, the oil, the essence, and finally the flour mixed with baking powder. Line a tray with baking paper and pour the dough.

Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes. The countertop is allowed to cool and cut in two horizontally.

In the meantime, prepare the caramel cream. It melts the sugar until it becomes liquid and gets a golden color. Take the bowl aside and carefully add the liquid whipped cream. Stir until the caramel is melted and the butter is added.

Put the pot back on fire and boil the composition, stirring continuously, until the consistency of a thick custard.

Allow the cream to reach room temperature, then pour it between the two sheets.
