The baby's quiet sleep

To help your child have a restful and restful sleep it is very important to reduce the distractions in the bedroom and establish a routine regarding the baby's sleep time.

The specialists have a number of recommendations regarding the baby's sleep time.

  • Set a clear bedtime at which the child should go to sleep.
  • 30 minutes before bedtime, the child must have quiet and relaxing activities. Maybe for example listening to music, or a story.
  • Every night, before bedtime, make sure the baby goes to the toilet, washing his hands and teeth.
  • You can do some distracting activities together but at the same time relaxing. You can talk, you can read a book together or you can tell a story.
  • For a quiet sleep the room temperature must be at a level that provides comfort.
  • Do not allow the child to watch TV or play on the computer before bed, because it will shake it and it will not be able to rest.
  • Encourage your child to stay in bed even if he says he is not sleeping and praise him if he does.
