The documents necessary to obtain the maternity allowance

After you find out the latest changes under the law on granting child support, you must be aware of the documents you will need and what you need to do to get the allowance.
Here's what documents you need for the file for obtaining the allowance:
the birth certificate of the child;
Proof of the mother's income from the last 12 months (from the work place if the mother is employed or is targeted by the tax agency to which she belongs if she is a professional, has a company, has agricultural earnings or, besides salary, has other income, such as dividends);
request for compensation.
The file with these documents is submitted to the town hall from which you belong.
The procedure is the same if the father wishes to go on leave for the care of the child.
The money will be received by card, if the applicants wish, or by postal mandate, at home.
Moms who are already on child-rearing leave and now benefit from the 600 lei, to receive 85% of the salary they need:
application requesting recalculation of child care allowance; the application is completed at the National Agency for Social Benefits within the scope of their domicile;
copy by bulletin;
Proof of income for the last 12 months before birth.
If the husband's income is higher and he wants to change the person who is on child care leave, if until this year the mother has benefited from the allowance, the father will have to go to the town hall to draw up a new file.
It will contain:
the birth certificate of the child;
the request for the granting of compensation from the father;
the mother's statement that she gives up the allowance;
Proof of the father's income for the last 12 months.
The steps of moving from 600 lei to 85% of the income, regardless of whether it is made by the mother or the father, must be made within 60 days from the entry into force of the new law. Those who meet this deadline will receive the increased allowance during the month following the submission of the application, but also the amounts due retroactively, according to newz.ro.
For example, if a parent submits a request for the recalculation of the allowance on February 11, he will receive, in March, the allowance increased from February, but also the difference between 600 lei and 85% of the income, in January.
If the parents delay the filing of the documents after the 60 days deadline, they will receive the increased allowance starting with the month following the application, but not the amounts due retroactively.
If the real income of the mother or father does not correspond to the ones passed in the certificates or if during the leave for the child care the beneficiary of the indemnity continues to collect income from lucrative activities and the cases are discovered, the beneficiaries will be obliged to return to the state the amounts collected in the basis of the allowance.
