The Playgrounds, the largest sporting event for children, are returning this year to Bucharest with the 10th national edition and the 6th edition in the Capital. The event takes place on Saturday, June 11, in the Youth Park (Sincai Entrance) between 12: 00-20: 00 and is part of the Sport for Life campaign, initiated by Gabriela Szabo.
Thought in the form of the largest playground for children, the event provides participants with over 20 activity areas of the most diverse, dedicated to both children and parents. Those with a team spirit can register and play football, volleyball or basketball games, and those with an adventure feel can climb the climbing board, created especially for this event. The little ones can try mini-basketball, mini-volleyball or mini-football games and can draw in the area equipped with the necessary tools.
The champion athletes will not miss this time from the event. Gabriela Szabo, the Olympic and world champion in athletics, will start the children between 6 and 14 years old at the Children's Cross starting at 18:00, and Diana Oprea, the world champion in fitness, will form with those present the biggest flashmob of the children at the end of the event.
