We invite you to attend an interesting and fun astronomy workshop, supported by Adrian Sonka, coordinator of the Astronomical Observatory "Admiral Vasile Urseanu" in Bucharest.

During the 4 meetings of the workshop, the little astronomy enthusiasts and those just curious to explore the starry night sky will travel a million light years, starting from Earth, to the most distant galaxies of the Universe.
Passion astronomer, author of over 14,000 observations of variable stars, Adrian Sonka will be the little guide among stars, nebulae and galaxies. With patience and humor, in a relaxed atmosphere, children will learn to "orient themselves to heaven."
They will learn what a falling star is, how the constellations appeared, what actually happens when it is eclipsed and what life on another planet would be like.
And, above all, they will finally find out the answer to the difficult question "Why is the sky blue?"
The last meeting of the course will be held at the Astronomical Observatory "Admiral Vasile Urseanu", where the children will make their own astronomical observations.
